|

IF YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND THE KEY POINTS, PLEASE ATTEND OUR FREE  E-LEARNING COURSE

The law is changing, and in May 2018 the Data Protection Act is being replaced by the GDPR which will apply to all organisations and charities within the UK & all European Union member states.

65% of large firms detected a cyber security breach or attack in the last year, and the average cost of a breach to a large business was £36,500. The GDPR, when it comes into affect, will require companies to alert their clients of the breach and could face fines as high as 20 million Euros or 4% of annual turnover.

Only 51% of companies have taken recommended actions to identify cyber risk, with only 10% having a formal incident management plan. The GDPR requires organisations to know more about the personal data they hold about individuals and how this data is captured, used, and maintained.

Now is the time to start preparing, so we have created a free eLearning course to get you started. If you are interested in taking the 10 minute Executive GDPR Course then please proceed to our elearning authoring tool, 'ClickClass', to start.
