LightMedia won ‘Best in Class 2015’ with The Interactive Media Awards (IMA) for a submission within the Medical category. LightMedia’s winning website was created for The British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and beat 122 entries to the post from around the globe.

The Best in Class award is the highest honour bestowed by the IMA and represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. LightMedia's submission was judged on:

  • Design
  • Content
  • Feature Functionality
  • Usability
  • Standards Compliance

LightMedia's build of the BAUS website was recognised with a Bronze award by Horizon Interactive Awards in the Health / Human Services category.

The Public and Members website was assessed by an international, volunteer panel of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds and various roles within the interactive media and advertising industries. Judges look for the best blend between creativity and functionality. Each entry was judged on the following:

  • Solution creativity and originality
  • Overall graphic design / appearance / user experience
  • Communication of message
  • Technical merit
  • Effectiveness of solution
